DeepSeek

DeepSeek provides direct API access for supported RepoPrompt model features. Configure the credential through API Providers → DeepSeek, validate it, and select an available model or supported custom identifier.

Models and availability

Use the DeepSeek model-list documentation for current API identifiers and the connection's discovered choices for actual availability. A model ID can change its backing release or retire; a name captured in a screenshot is not a permanent default.

Check the selected model's capabilities and limits for the feature you intend to use. Models explains how model IDs, context capacity, effort, and output settings differ. A per-model override cannot add functionality the provider does not implement.

Account and billing

Requests are associated with the account owning the DeepSeek credential. Review its current API pricing and account usage rather than relying on a price or free quota copied into a guide. RepoPrompt does not add a markup or transfer allowance from another provider.

The settings reference explains validation, model selection, and credential removal. Removing the key in RepoPrompt does not close the provider account.
