Google Antigravity

Google Antigravity is a coding-agent integration using a managed ACP runtime. It is distinct from saving a Gemini API key for direct model requests.

Install and connect

Open Google Antigravity settings and choose Install Runtime. Use Update Runtime for an existing installation and Test Connection to check support and refresh model discovery.

Google authentication is requested through ACP when needed. An installation indicator means the runtime is available; it does not establish that login is complete or that selectable models were returned. Follow the authentication request and inspect the connection result before starting a task.

Models and capabilities

The connected runtime supplies its supported model choices and session capabilities. Use that catalog rather than assuming it matches the direct Gemini API catalog. Models explains the shared availability and parameter concepts.

Antigravity uses its ACP session modes and manages its runtime capabilities. Its CLI Providers card has no separate sign-out or inline permission picker. Review the available Direct Agent permission controls for the installed runtime instead of applying another provider's permission descriptions to it.

Account and usage

The authenticated Google account and runtime's service terms determine access and allowance. A Gemini API key or a separate Google subscription does not, by itself, establish access through this managed runtime. Check the actual login and runtime state when troubleshooting availability.
